Cold food is for the birds

The woman gave me kangaroo for lunch and wondered why I left almost all of it. If she must keep fresh meat in the frig why can’t she remember to let it warm up to room temperature at least? I cannot abide chilled food. Her memory is going.

I enjoy a snack of fresh kangaroo every week or so, she used to get me more but I started upchucking and that didn’t go down too well with her visitors.

I think I will go and finish the rest of the meat. It’s bound to be less chilly now after a few hours in the warm kitchen. Tomorrow I’m sure to get nothing but polenta.
