Close brush with death

The woman nearly killed me last night.

She was out all evening at a wild party, one of her extended family birthdays. (Her kittens have all left home now and the smallest of them all was 30 years old yesterday. Humans set great store by these decades.)

But when she came home, about midnight sometime, she went straight to her own bed and left me outside all night!

And it was 11 degrees Celsius overnight. She should be reported to the Agency which Relieves Suffering of Animals.

Oh yes she was all so apologetic this morning but she knows perfectly well that, as cats gets older, we tend to lose more body heat and we feel the cold more . Therefore, it is important that we have a warm bed away from draughts in a quiet area.

I am ignoring her for at least the rest of the day.

Yep, ignoring her will certainly teach a valuable lesson here.

    Glad she FINALLY let you
    back inside so you could
    get all warmed up again!
