The Cat’s Tale

The end fell off my tail

The end of my tail fell off!

It was bad enough when my tooth fell out but now it’s the tip of my tail. The most embarassing thing is I didn’t even notice! I was, however, aware of a scraping sound behind me as I walked, but put it down to my nerves playing up on me – I have a generally highly strung disposition (it’s in the genes).

The woman took me to the appalling Vet again where the scraggly daggy dangly bit was clipped straight. The terrible calamity was diagnosed as the least remaining vestige of the snake venom making the end of my tail dead. Dang and blast that snake! My heroics have cost me my once-stunning looks!

How can I face my fans? I have my celebrity status to consider and anything less than my full handsomeness will unsettle them. Besides, other cats may laugh.

I intend to stay indoors and never be seen again.

  1. Fisher says:

Staying indoors is a very good thing, especially for the accident prone. I can say that with ease because all us bloggers will still be able to see you. Your personality makes up for the missing end of tail.

  2. I think you will still look very handsome! And I would never, ever laugh at you.
