Jack the Cat, the feisty feline who has been missing at New York’s JFK Airport for two months, has been found in the airport customs area and is doing well.

According to a post on the official Facebook page for American Airlines, a team of workers found Jack yesterday – and he is doing fine at a local vet after his lengthy airport adventure.

“American Airlines is happy to announce that Jack the Cat has been found safe and well at JFK airport.

Jack’s Twitter account, which sprung up following his disappearance, read “Well it was a good run. See you soon, California ”.

Last week the Best Friends Animal Society hosted the aCATemy Awards, two ultra glamorous adoption events in USA. One in Los Angeles and one in New Jersey.

Each adoption was a grand event, with family members receiving a special aCATemy Award statue and having their photos taken with the newest star of the family.

Luckily a lot of cats were adopted at these awards!

But, for the real acatemy award, I would vote for Grrreta or for the feline superstar Daisy.
