“The Philippines’ finest police, armed with heavy firepower, surrounded a bank in Manila when its alarm went off, only to find out the culprits were a pair of cats.

Marikina’s SWAT team surrounded the bank just as a stray cat slipped through the door. Another cat was seen fleeing through a small hole in the ceiling. When police inspected the bank, nothing was missing.”

I know a cat like that. She steals socks from around the neighbourhood. I suppose the Filipino cats were looking for socks too.

The cat across the road creeps round at night breaking into peoples’ homes and making off with  certain smelly items of clothing. She even took one of the woman’s gym shoes once. The woman used to drop her stuff outside the back door but she learned her lesson when one went missing. (The woman hasn’t left them outside since, but I really wish she would)

Pretty disgraceful, you must agree. The SWAT Team hasn’t been called out because we humour her.

The burgling cat I mean. Not the woman.
