She had someone else come and stay in the house. Still not good enough. Strangers have no idea of my particular needs and no inkling whatsoever of my understandable dislikes.

Alright, the stranger was her brother and he’s met me often enough before but he hasn’t got that nice wide comfy lap. Nor does he let me sleep with him and stretch out on his head.

I tell you, I am getting tired of this.

The woman left me in a common, low-class, vulgar and positively fiendish facility designed for feline torture.

Here is my ‘Cat Motel’

(To tell you the truth, it was comfier than home and the food was excellent but I am not letting the woman know that)

Oh yes, I know what they call it. All sorts of fancy names. Oh yes, I know it cost her a lot of money, a lot more than the last place she dumped me in. But she would be better employed by taking me with her when she goes away (puh-lease, no more moans and groans from her about airplanes and bushwalking and snow and other trivia).

Or better yet. She can just stay at home!

I am not speaking to her. I am trying to develop a slight cough to worry her out of her wits now.
