I discovered this only yesterday.

Because of my rising status as a multi-media personality and a technologically-literate cat I decided to try everything in the house. Except for the microwave (which is too high up anyway).

Taking a photo isn’t easy – but it can be done! The trick is to use just one claw!

1. Hold the phone down with your left paw – restrain it as though you were holding a mouse.

2. Extend your claws on the other paw

3. Using one claw (on the side is best) click the blinking button things on the phone until you find the camera

4. Click to take a photo

Or more simply, wait till the human has been taking photographs on her phone and is suddenly called away to answer the front door. In her absence idly bat the phone a little to amuse yourself. (Remember not to jump if it has a flash).

She won’t even know what you’ve done until she returns and remembers where she put the phone. By that time, it’s too late. Your photo is preserved for posterity.

Voila! A photo of myself by myself.
