I have decided to branch out even further into the world of the wide web or whatever they call these internets nowadays. How it’s all changed!

I remember messing around with Zork in my youth. The boy used to wonder who had reprogrammed the Commodore 64 overnight but, let’s be realistic, I had to learn the basics and it was a good place to start. The old Commodore has gone, replaced by this nifty notebook that’s easy for me to open and the boy has gone too, grown and flown. Just me and the woman now. Much more comfortable and I get more attention.

But I digress. I forgot what I was going to say. It’s happening to me with monotonous regularity of late, this forgetfulness.

Ah, yes. I have broadened my horizons to encompass Squidoo and set up an account there as Lensmaster Vladi. You may find this hard to believe but my name, Vladimir, wasn’t available! Not even Vlad. Outrageous!

But I overcame this setback and I’ve begun to create a small collection of web pages, (curiously, they call them a lens) and, in keeping with my much-admired tenacity, I have a goal! I will make 50 of these by June 30.

Here’s one about Bagheera, my Hero

Have a look and tell me what you think. I recommend Squidoo to all literary cats as a tasty little adjunct to your blog. Talking of taste, I’m pretty sure it’s dinner time …….

Wondering if your cat is a little dippy?

Scientists already thought cats were susceptible to dementia because previous research had identified thick, gritty plaques on the outside of elderly cats’ brain cells which are similar to those found in humans.

Recent research has shown Alzheimers in older cats as well. Like us, they get old and can sometimes be a bit demented.
