It’s about time people realised something basic about feeding cats. Cats are carnivores. More to the point, cats are obligate carnivores.
Being an ‘obligate carnivore’ means that I’m designed to get my nutrition from animal-based proteins – that’s meat.
Please, don’t try to feed me, or any cat, on vegetables!
Chicken and Pasta
A handy recipe, easy for people to whip up. This is two meals for a fussy cat as you can keep half of the mixture in the fridge for 2 days.
Chicken and Pasta
Ingredients
- 2 chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup pasta
Instructions
- Bring a small pot of water to the boil. Simmer the thigh fillets for 5 minutes. Remove, cool and chop.Cook the macaroni until tender. Cool.Blend in the food processor or blitzer, adding a few drops of vegetable oil to help the mixServe at room temperatureYou can keep half of the mixture in the fridge for 2 days.P.S The parsely isn't too bad either
