These comments can be useful, n’est-ce pas? Jazmin had a query about kangaroos.
Jazmin, they are big things, very noisy and rambunctious. Pretty useless in the scheme of things but they taste good. Lip smacking good.
Tell your person that kangaroo meat is lean, high in iron, contains a high amount of polyunsaturated fat and is virtually free of any chemicals usually associated with domestic stock. Great smell too!
In my younger days I used to play with the meat for 15 minutes or more, tossing it up in the air, chasing it, catching it, before I allowed myself the pleasure of actually eating it.
Some humans are a little weak in the knees about killing kangaroos but they’re quite happy to stand by while cows, lambs, pigs, rabbits and chickens are killed. People are hard to understand at times.
The woman doesn’t give it to me very often. She says it’s too rich for me at my age. (She’s the one who is getting old.) All I’ve had today is a coddled egg and polenta.
Sigh
