I am Vladimir, domestic short hair felis catus. A banal description which fails to convey my most distinctive characteristic (my blackness), and can give no hint of my astounding creative talents.
I am a cat of local fame, a keen student of wild life, an adventurous hiker and champion ratter (retired).
I am also carer/companion to a rather irrational lady of advancing years who reads detective stories and leaves scarves on buses.
Scientific Studies
Since my youth I have been a deep thinker and, between naps, I muse on the intricate relationship between human and cat, global warming and its relationship to arthritic joints, the delicate balance of Nature and on the Meaning of Life.
I first discovered the theoretical framework of String Theory at an early age but these days I concentrate on exploring the relationship between projectile forces and the power of gravity.
For example, I experiment by gently rolling a ping pong ball along the floor and then engage in pursuit. When the gravitating principle combined with friction overcomes the impelling power, I give the ball a fresh impetus, thus turning its direction into an elliptic curve.
At other times the form of the earth is the object of my experiments, and the ball is made to describe an oblate spheroid.
